Passionate About Inspiring Artists
C.NDY (pronounced Candy), was raised in Houston, TX, and began her musical journey at a young age as a member of a gospel group signed to an independent label. After the group disbanded, she moved to Atlanta, GA where she pursued a solo career as an R&B artist. In Atlanta, she honed her craft by writing and recording music, while collaborating with Grammy-nominated writers and producers.

Atlanta proved to be a pivotal move for C.NDY, where she performed at various shows across the city and in neighboring states, while also traveling to New York City for performances, where her former manager was based. She had the privilege of singing the National Anthem at the NASCAR Nationwide Series, and honed her vocal skills over several years at Jan Smith Studios, a renowned vocal training studio that has worked with artists such as Justin Bieber, Usher, Drake, and Ciara. Now based in Los Angeles, C.NDY continues to pursue her music career as an artist, having performed at various shows and events, including Hard Rock Cafe, Breaking Sound, performing the National Anthem for professional sports teams such as the NBA, NHL, and WNBA. She also served as a mentor for Girls with Gifts, a non-profit dedicated to inspiring and empowering young girls interested in arts and entertainment, helping them recognize and develop their talents from an early age.

C.NDY dedicated time to refining her skills while working in A&R and Artist Development at EDGEOUT Records/Universal Music Group, a rock label focused on signing and developing emerging rock artists and bands. As the Manager of A&R Scouting & Artist Development, she played a key role in guiding bands and artists on their live performances, vocals, and image during their development stages. C.NDY also gained valuable experience working on a 20+ city North American tour, as the Artist Tour Manager Assistant for rap artist Scorey on Polo G’s “The Hood Poet Tour.” Additionally, she served as a vocal instructor at The School of Rock where she coached young aspiring singers on their vocal technique and live performances. She also leads an after-school creative music boot camp for teens at the Best Buy Teen Tech Center in partnership with Vermont Slauson Economic Development Corporation, designing and facilitating hands-on music projects that develop technical skills, foster creativity, and promote teamwork, while mentoring students. This creative music boot camp inspires and equips young people with the tools and knowledge to pursue their musical dreams.
Driven by a passion for helping artists reach their full potential, particularly in live performance development, C.NDY founded The Performers Suite. A career highlight for C.NDY was working with Pop artist Izza, who opened for Maroon 5, OneRepublic and Kelly Clarkson at We Can Survive in Newark, NJ, an event that supports the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. For this event, C.NDY provided live performance coaching to Izza, helping to enhance her stage presence and overall performance. As an advocate for mental health in the music industry, C.NDY is also passionate about raising awareness and providing support to artists navigating the pressures of their careers. This experience further deepened her commitment to the well being of artists, particularly in ensuring they have the performance skills and emotional resilience needed to thrive in the demanding industry. With labels no longer offering artist development support, C.NDY is committed to providing artists with the tools and guidance they need to deliver powerful and captivating performances that resonate with audiences.
